Week Three Results are in...
Yup, it’s official. The core program is working! Down another 1.6 lbs! WhooHooo! I did cheat a little bit after I weighed in though. A few slices of pizza at poker night. Well, you can’t be good all the time! :-)

I never met a cookie I didn't like...
When is it ever a good idea for my mom to bring cookies when she comes to visit, knowing that I’m trying to follow core? They are only supposed to be for my BF, but come on, who are we kidding? I have to have at least one or two, right? They’re snickerdoodles for goodness sakes! So, like I said, other than a few stray cookies here and there, I’m doing pretty well. Thank goodness...

Week Two
I’m down another 1.4 lbs! I was hoping for another two but that’s ok. As long as it keeps going in the right direction!
I can’t help but peak at the scale in the mornings. I know it probably best if I wait, but I like to gage how I’m doing often. So far, so good this week. We’ll see how it goes tonight at weigh in!

Activity points count!
Since I am new to the core plan, I wasn’t exactly sure how activity points counted, since there is no food counting (except for non-core foods), and there is no daily allowance to add them to. Well, to my amazement, when I added in my activity points on e-tools, my weekly allowance remaining points total went up!!! That means I get more weekly allowance points to use for things that are not...
Weekends are tough...
and Saturday’s seem to be the hardest. JK and I went to the Vermont Country Store in Rockingham, VT yesterday. There were a cornucopia of items to taste. I’ve been so good all week so I allowed myself to do some tasting. I can’t be good all the time! But I did make sure to count it all.
Brown Rice Sushi?
So, I went out to dinner with my friend ‘H’ tonight for our favorite meal, sushi. I was very excited to see her and to eat sushi, so I made sure to plan my meal in advance so I could try to stay core. First week is a success!
I was very reluctant to try this CORE thing out. It’s always hard when you are learning a new way to eat, esp. if there are restrictions. But so far it is a success. I am down 2.2 lbs this past week!!! Wow, if I can keep this up, I will be on my way to goal in no time. It wasn’t even that hard.
